Got me a new truck today!
Got my first 5 speed Cummins today. Shes not my first Cummins but my first one with a manual trans.
Shes a 95 ram 2500 4x4 5 speed reg cab long bed. 182k miles. Quite a bit of performance stuff done to her, 90hp injectors, aftermarket intake system, turbo back 5 " exhaust, 3 guages on the A-post. Southbend clutch, and an ajustable timing gear.
And i got er for only $4k!!!
Only thing im wondering about is when its at an idle, it will sit and go from 600 rpms to 1400 constantly and it does it too when you press the clutch, what would be cause it to do that?
Im proud of er, all she needs is a paint job and shes good to go.

well i know very little about diesel trucks but hoping to learn i know that when a 24 valve does that it is from the tune on them or from stacking your chips i think they call it loping? seeing how yours is mechanical could it be from advancing the time or maybe a modification to the pump? do diesels have vacuum lines it could be that

Heres one pic, ill put more on when i get home. It has a couple small dents here and there, nothing major, shes not beat up, just used. It took me a while to figure out that clutch LOL. I know how to drive a straight shift but llike my dad always said, when you get in a new one, you have to re-learn to drive it cuz there aint no two straight shifts alike.
