Default noise from p pump

I installed my airdog yesterday and when I turn the key forward and the pump starts running i can hear a weird noise coming from the overflow valve on the inj pump. Is this normal?

Sounds good, I will give it a try. Also the main fuel feed line quick connect at the pump is leaking a little, how is airdog with replacing these or would i be better off taking it to a pump shop and have them put a new end on the hose?

Or I could barb it I guess but dont want to cut the hose if i have to send it back

I can open the ofc with 10-14psi out of the hand primer, it may not be all the way open but they will crack and make a "squeak" sound. I usually raise inlet pressures a bit anyway so stretching the spring or installing one of the adjustable ofvs. With that said I doubt you hurting anything, it wouldn't hurt to have a gauge on it to know for sure when its opening.

I'd guess it's the fuel slipping by the seat in the OFV, tork tek has an OFV with an orfice calibrated for electric lift pumps, no valve and seat; but it's supposed to maintain your FP better than stock.

Yea I have a tork tek on order so we will see how that does. Cummin un glued its not the fitting that threads into the inj pump its the quick connect connector that is leaking.
