Default Anyone heard of an allison swap?

My nv4500 is getting ready to go so im leaning toward an auto swap but was thinking about doing a allison but idk if its possible, any info is appreciated

^^ With enough time and money anything is possible. You will need the adapter plates and a stand alone controller (both of which Destroked has).

Yea I swapped Debbie for Allison in the tenth grade

Just do a built 47re! A built 47re will walk all over an Allison!

Ditto on the 47RH. But if you do want to do the swap, you will need an adapter plate and a stand alone controller, both of which you can get from Destroked.

dunno for sure how it would work but a lot of schoolbus/ two ton+ trucks have a 5.9 cummins-allison combo. Most are probably 4 speeds but would be a stout bolt on upgrade

yup, but most allisons from behind duramax aren't. I assumed those were the allisons he was looking at swapping in........
