Sounds like a good price to me if everything is legit. I would look into seeing if the kdp fix has been done but other than that sounds like a good deal to me.

There is a little dowel pin that sits above the cam gear and it can work loose and fall into the gears making a big mess that's why its called the killer dowel pin "kdp". You can make a little tab to go over it or if it is loose enough, just take it out.

where is the tranny line leak? is it at the radiator. the factory coolers have a tendency of plugging up and destroying transmissions due to lack of fluid flow. they start leaking at the conections at the radiator due to excess pressure.
but $3000 is a very good price

I bought the truck for 2800 cash it runs great. The tranny leak is in a line halfway in between transmission and radiator I'm pretty sure. Its a good truck interior isn't perfect but its okay and exterior is great!
