Torque converter wont lock up

Torque converter wont lock up
I have a 96 and this is what it did, One day i was driving it down the road and I got to 50 mph and it locked up but nothing like it normally does. it dropped a few rpms but did not lock up 100% i dont believe. PLease help!!!
