Hey everyone! First of all I have been reading threads on here for years and just became a member. I have a 98 12V 4x4. Upgrades include 80 horse injectors, timing advanced to 16 degrees, cold air intake, electric fans, KDP fix, boost, fuel pressure, and pyrometers gauges, no fuel plate, and AFC adjusted. All this is backed by a 47RE with Suncoast internals. I was wondering what my next upgrades should be! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

hey that and 60 pound valve springs and than something to do with boost like twins using a holset ht3b

 

4k gsk and 60lb valve springs. I installed a set awhile back for my buddy and man does it wake a truck up!

 

i know there are lots of vids of 12v revving at 4 grand on u tube but how well do stock internals take it? what is a safe rpm limit for a stock 12v?

A FUEL PLATE.
And 3k springs... don't use 4k springs unless you upgrade your valve springs.
You'll float the valves and lunch your engine.

 

think the problem points are 3200 rpms -install 60lbs valvesprings or bigger
and 4100 rpms there is a bad torsional vibration -get a good dampner and dont hold it a 4100!

and its a cummins it will hold it

 

i twisted my old 300k truck to 4500 all the time an when i pulled it apart bearings looked good
