Default 92 tranny in a 95

Buddy wants to put a 92 auto in 95 that is a auto.what all will he need or will it hook right up

You need the adapter plate on the back of the engine. The 92 is non lock up, a down grade from the '95 one.

If hes going to put a 1st gen tranny in a 2nd gen...id definitely overhaul the tranny...fresh upgraded valve body, tc, etc..

why? does his truck not have a tranny in it?
