how far is far? and what are you going to use the truck for other than scaring your friends? how much cash are you looking to spend??? and i believe you have a 175 pump to my knowledge the 180's came on the later automatics. 96-98

what are your plans with the truck? what power are you wanting to get to? is your tranny already built or is that part of the 8K?

Default hey

do u have an auto or manual trans?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

once your trans is out of the way getting power out of he engine isnt hard ur gonna need head studs, head gasket injection pump work as in #100 fuel plate or run no plate i do that in my 94 2500, dv's injectors rack plug, 4k springs advance timing, afc tuning, hd valves and my fav the turbo, im thinking of compound on mine but a single can get u too 600hp+

head work (ported,oringed, or fireringed)
a good flowing pump (with similar goodies listed above)
def recommend twins for over 500 hp lag will be a problem with a single
head studs
prolly around a 5x.016 injector with twins
an upgraded fuel system
possible a cam
all the gauges if you dont already have them in the truck

these engines are close to double between HP and TQ

i got the nv4500 in mine.. i know about the head studs and all the gaskets.. ive been looking into industrial injections p-pumps and injectors.. also their complete street/race head with 150lb exhaust valves and billet roller rockers.. also looked at a ats twin turbo set up.. a cam would be nice.. what fuel systems would you recomend? I have a guage pillar with etg and boost.. also probably gona do a dual disc clutch from southbend..

5th gear wont stay together long with 600 ponies. as far as fuel something that will supply enough to the injection pump. call FASS or somebody up and explain what your getting into. go one size biggerthan what you need so if plans change you can go bigger with out redoing. and you dont need roller rockers to make 600HP mark that off your list unless you cant stand not to have them.
