if you have one coming off the compressor housing, a boost line that is, it will be on about the 5 o clock position on the turbo if your looking at the front of it, it will be a little brass 90 degree elbow, if not it will be on the back of the afc housing
you will have one of two on your truck either a barbed brass elbow on the front of the compessor housing, or a straight brass barb in a "T" off the back of the AFC housing next to the boost line that goes to the intake manifold.
The boost elbow replaces which ever you have and limits the boost to the waste gate. It should come with most plates that you buy, or most shops will sell them for about $15(TST, PDR, Source Automotive, ect...)
Here is the instuctions for the TST plate it has little diagrams that will show you where it goes, figure 2 is compressor, figure 3 is AFC. http://www.tstproducts.com/pdffiles/INSRUCT98.pdf

so if i put ithe elbow in my compressor housing at the bottom like the picture do i just conect that hose to the wastegate and fully remove the one from the AFC to the wastegate
you can either swap the straight barb for the elbow.
or drill and tap your compressor housing, install the elbow, run a rubber line from the elbow to the waste gate, then pull the metal line and straight barb off and install a plug where the barb was.
