afc tuning(new england tread with p pump cut out)
Ya long title, i figured it i just wrote afc tuning no one would write because its on here 500 times.
12 Valve AFC Mod's - New England Turbo Diesel Power
With that said I have read the entire post 3 times ^ and under stand pretty much everything very well. the only question i have is at this moment my waste gate is locked up rusted. "hucksdorf diesel of racine wisconsin" said it shouldnt be a problem tell you get to the 40 psi range. Now if is that because the diaphragm wouldnt be adjusted by the boost pressure and cause to much air and not enough fuel?? With the waste gate the way it is if i make a 100 plate from and extra stocker plate where would i need the afc housing so i dont hit 40 psi??
thanks for the help if there is someone that can answer that for me.

ok well i ground the plate and put it in. I have the star wheel about 1/4 inch from the front of the hole. all i get is a little pluff of smoke and thats it. is this normal??? should there be more, or less?? it seems to have a little better pick up and better top end. would the fact my waste gate is locked up and the vacuum line from it plugged do anything?
