is a 95 transmission a 47rh or 47re?

 

think last year for rh is 96 so id say its rh. only diff. is manual gov. vs re electronic gov.

 

ok cause i need to get a shift kit for my 95 cause i pumped it up a little bit

 

the shift kits are the same for the re and rh, they included parts for the re that you dont use in the rh, its just a little resister to fool the electronic re governor, other than that they are the same transmission, OD housing is different but all the parts except for the output shaft and the housing are the same

 

47rh and a shift kit will just firm up the shifts. .the trans runs off fluid pressure and the lower the engine rpms the lower the trans fluid pressure. if you really want to save your trans get few small pump mods done to the trans. it;ll save more in the long run

 

im one step above stock and they said i need a shift kit its pumping 255 its 100 extra hp whats the best kit to get?
