turbo problem

Default turbo problem

my turbo is spinning and can hear it but no boost pressure and oil comeing out the intake side of the turbo help please

the bushings are out of your turbo. you should still get -some- boost though? sure there isnt any blow rubber connectors or anything. but if your turbo is no longer spinning as fast as it should be your #'s will be WAY down. time for a rebuild or an upgrade.

i'm gonna say its the shaft is broken, the comp side can still spin some even with the shaft broke

ugh.. i hope its not that. take your air filter off and see if the wheel wants to come out.

well last night i took my air filter off and the fan was spinning good does this mean the bushings or shaft could still be bad? i hadnt read these till just now so i will try to pull it and see if it wants to come out

if the fan spins the shaft isnt broken. is there excessive shaft play.

there is some play but not much moves up and down just enough for you to fill it move is this because the bushings?

Seal gone. You should rebuild or replace the turbo and have a look in the intake horn to see how much oil it's been injesting - just for shyts 'n grins. Maybe need to flush the intercooler.

what seal i have never tore apart a turbo or had to rebuild one, just took them on and off. should i just get a rebuild kit?
