hx 52 as a top turbo is going to be a very slow spooling set or twins.

A 40 is fairly slow spooling and it will spool around 200 rpm's slower in twins. On a manual trans it's easier to handle but I had a 40 as a single on a tight convertor and didn't like it at all. I've had a b1,hx35,he351 and a 341 over 3b's and 475. I like the 341 on a lower horsepower setup,it spools really fast. The rest are around 100 to 150 rpm later spooling.
I'm cheap so 3b's are what I've been using, again a decent turbo for 5 to 600 horse setups. The setup being put together for my 95 is a he351 over a ht60.

i had a hx40 on my 01 for a couple of months,it spooled way too slow for my tastes.the hx35/40 hybrid i'm running for now is much, much faster.
