With that power, and that high of RPMs, there is a lot more that has to go into the engine than most think. and yes, you will need deep pockets of money to build truck like that, and hopefully you have money on the side in case anything malfunctions or breaks.

Just to list off a FEW things you need to upgrade for that engine:
Camshaft
Push Rods
Valve Springs
Valve Springs Keepers & Retainers
ARP Head Studs
Head Gasket
Fire Ringed Head
FluidDampr Harmonic Balancer
Injectors
Delivery Valves
Governor Spring Kit
Main Stud Kits
Billet Tappets
Connecting Rods and Pistons
Air Dog or Fass Lift Pump
Turbos

These are some of the things you'll need on top of buying the fuel pump AND then you have spend at least 8k on transmission parts building it to handle that much power.

If you can afford the repairs it will make for you go for it. Having a stock truck and going this far is a big jump. Tuning a motor like that is tuff even for the guys that do it all the time. I'm just guessing but you are probably looking at around 25 to 30,000 in extra mods to make a truck that will live with that power. Depending on how hard you drive it probably need tore down once a year on the motor, tranny several times a year when something breaks.

Just for your knowledge, this wont be a daily driver, its going to be a straight competition truck. What do you want the truck for? 6-700hp is a much, much more easily attained goal, and will leave you with a lot less invested, less breaking all the time, and a daily driver. For that much power, you should be able to keep the stock 12mm plungers, and not have to swap pumps.

will a hx 40 turbo work? what size injectors? what are dv's, and whats a 4k gsk? i have a 3'' downpipe that adapts to a 4'' that goes to 5'' dual stacks and i have egt, boost, and fuel psi gauges. what would be the best intake, and shift kit for the tranny?

no, the hx40 wont do 5-600 if you want it done right. and DV's are delivery valves, and theyre in the injection pump.

Here is my recommendation.....

1) change or remove fuel plate, tuned AFC
2) 4k GSK with 60lb springs
3) SDX competition DV's
4) either 5x.014 or 5x.016 injectors
5) turbo: either a small twin setup with your current turbo and an ht3b or S475, or probably about a 64/71/14 for a single
6) timing up a few degrees
7) tranny work

Air filter and exhaust to go along with. Studs and o-rings are good insurance also.
