Default Head light switch?......

well heres my problem... i was riding around the other day, my parking lights, front, rear and marker lights stoped working... but my head lights, brake lights, 4ways, and blinkers work great.. Ive been reading that these trucks have a problem with the head light switches... btw looks fine! have been chacing the harness all day and everything looks to be just fine all the fuses are fine idk what else to do?!! ..............................................has anyone had this isue b4?

There was a recall on some of the switches. I will see if I can find it for you.

yeah there was a recall on only the 3500's for 96 i believe!! and yes the fuse under the hood is good! there all goood im stumped!

Yep these tend to go bad. A friend burnt up his whole headlight wiring harness not fun

well for some reason my markers and everything started to work!! but every once in a while its pops a fuse and wont work again.... then it will work again for another week or so and do it all over again!!! idk what the deal is with this thing no cut wires no burned wire cant find anything grounding out! new switch what could be the issue here??

Just had the same thing happen to me today, Fuse popped. No reason. Changed the fuse in the cab on the drivers side at the door panel and all is good again. Switch?

well just got back from the junk yard took a switch out of a 94 gas job put it in and **** sure enough it works!!! all the time now i can push and pull untill my fingers cramp and i havent blown a fuse yet!! im still goin to go to the dealler and grab the harness that "takes care of the problem" because im sick of putting switches in im just glad its only poping fuses and not frieing wires!!!
