how bad is it that my 98 12 valve has blow by all over mt tailgate?

yeah my tip is dumped over the rearend and i though it was from all the smoke but a buddy told me it was oil.

Only thing I can think of is take off your downpipe and check to see if there is oil in it. Might have blown an oil seal in the turbo.

I think a few pictures are in order, somehow I don't think you can have blowby on your tailgate

I think it's much more probable that your axle or driveshaft might've blown a seal. OR your brakes might be leakin fluid somehow but I'm pretty sure you'd notice the brakes goin bad.

I think its more likely you have cooked your diff seal and are spraying gear lube...although unless you have a big hole in your bed im having trouble visualizing how anything is getting on your tailgate regardless of what it is..
