Default New Idea...Whats everybody think?

I'm working with a new company to the diesel world called Blackhawk Diesel out of Stockton Ut that is developing a new device to take the place of the afc on the p-pump that will be controllable with a dial in the cab of the truck. it is basically going to be an electronically movable fuel plate. it will still have aneroid boost/fuel control. they are not quite ready to release it yet but when they are i will have pics of it on my truck. they also have other products such as .040 over-sized billet delivery valves and holders.

Im helping them get the word out because they have little spare time to get on the forums but they can be contacted at Blackhawkdiesel@gmail.com

What does everybody think?

the rack arm needs to travel about 6mm forward to get the truck to run, so by being able to control 15mm in 1mm increments you have full control of the pump from in the cab ie one click one mm of rack travel, you can go from less than stock fueling to max pump output in 15 clicks from in your cab.
this is just scratching the surface of how this works , its a pretty off the wall design, but it will literally be a bolt on "chip" for the ppump. please feel free to ask questions and thanks for the interest! justin

Being as they are a new company I am sure that their advertising budget isn't all that much. that being said I doubt that they can afford the "new" advertising rates as I heard they were around $550 a month, or $6600 a year. In the past, it was $350 a year, or almost $30 a month, and that was easy for all the starting out companies to be able to advertise and be successful.

absolutly i talked with Justin yesterday and they are waiting for the patents to go through but they have a working unit on a pump on a flow bench and they are very happy with its performance. and this is just the first generation. the next generations will have preboost as well as star wheel tuning.

and what do they get for a pricetag like that? their own section in the sponsor section?

i was merly throwing this idea out there to get peoples response which i have already done on other forums, not to advertise. im excited for the new product and i think it will be a good thing for the 12v guys and a push for the 24v guys on the fence about switching to the p-pump.
