Default Pop testing injectors

I've been thinking about having my stock injectors pop tested and shimed if needed. The truck has 263,xxx miles on it and have no idea if they have ever been tested. Local pump shop will do it for $9 an injector. I'll get the timing bumped up too while I'm there.

Is it worth it to get the injectors tested?

It definitely wouldn't hurt IMO.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Found out the $9 an injector was for installing new nozzles, setting them up, and pop testing. May have to order up a set of 5x.012 SDX nozzles, my trans is going to hate me though.

Not yet. I have a DTT shift kit that's going in ASAP, I planned on adjusting the bands then.

yes yes yes rather not talk about that but i will say it hurts more the second time its on the return line to the tranny from the cooler what happens all to often is they stick or other malfunctions and will overheat your tranny without you ever knowing about it and by the time you do know its too late iv had it happen to me like i said and it sucks some drill it some make their own there are kits but deff kill it before it kills your tranny!!!!
