241dld is what came stock in the truck, a 241 dhd is all you will need for a street truck

Thanks a bunch!
is there anyway to mate the t-case out of a nv4500 truck to the 47re? i read online that the nv4500 has the 241 dhd behind it. so what will i need to run it with the 47re? and how do i ID the t-case? want to make sure its the right one

there is a stamped tag on the case telling you what it is, not all nv4500's had the 241 dhd behind it. make one from an auto fit a stick all you need is a input swap

the case is held on by 6 14mm bolts, the shifter is also a 14 mm bolt, 4 16 mm bolts hold the front driveshaft on, after that all thats left is the speedo and breather tube.

For the input a dealer can get them, some online stores, or you can look for a used one.
