check o ring in the turbo oil tube where it goes into the block. but most likely its the oil pan gasket if like you say its on the left side.if its in the oil pan its a pain you gata take off the tranny lines to the cooler remove the fan loosen motor mounts then hoist the motor half out of the truck to change it.High mileage 12 valves are prone to this problem.

If its the pump it will be leaking from the shaft coming out of the pump to the reservoir, not likely from the mount gasket.Genos has the seal kit for around $50 bucks.

mines a nv4500 and it sounds like a pain... if its my pump leakin is there any tips on removing it easier

its not to bad to fix just be sure to take off the oil line first.The best way is to just unblot it from the motor and do all work on the bench.Its pretty straight forward.

i cant tell if its my pan gasket or my pump... its not my turbo i dont think because it just went out and i got a new one but i havnt drove it since the turbo because i dont got a air filter for it
