Default U joints?

Alright so brand new to the sight here. And ive been looking for a dodge for months upon months and im finally on one i like. Only issue is at highway speed when i would take my foot off the accelerator it jerks forward a little bit. Anybody have an idea what that would be? U joints is what i figured.

Truck is a 1996 regular cab 3/4 ton 12 valve. 158k

thanks,
Colin

its an auto but its almost like there is a delay to you letting off the throttle which causes it to jerk you forward. hard to explain.

I vote no on the joints... Sounds like the auto is a Lil "loose" and when u let off it freewheels for a bit then the converter catches back up. That's a hard one to diagnose from words alone
