Here are my plans to keep my trans cool when pulling my 5th wheel. I will be installing a remote cooler under the truck with a fan, Derale Atomic or the same. I also plan on changing the factory cooler out in the front and removing the factory connections off the lines for regular 1/2 hose barbs.

My question is what is the biggest plate and fin cooler that will fit a Gen 2 in the factory position? Does anyone have pics?

I am also thinking about mounting two smaller coolers in series in the openings in the bumper, and removing the stock unit from in front of the intercooler. Any thoughts?

Would this help the intercooler by getting the old tranny cooler out of the way, at least on the one side.
