im havin issues with the dana 70 rear in my truck. i can turn the pinion a little over 1/8 of a turn freely without movin the tires and its makin some bad noises... my parts truck has a good solid dana 80 rear, but it has 4:10 gears n i dont really want them in my truck... so i was wonderin if anybody in my general area, northeast pa, n southern new york, would be interested in a swap. i also have the front axel if ya need it.

mods i put this in the dodge section cuz its frequented more often than the for sale section, but do what ya gotta do if ya think it shouldnt be here

 

completely wiped out the 70 today. goin down the road it squealed somethin awful n bound a little, then it popped n got quiet, about 2 miles later it squealed again even worse, the truck revved up n lost all drive power n i looked in the mirror n there goes the right axle n wheel... that was a fun ride and a fun 4 mile walk home... so i guess the 80 is goin in. still lookin to trade my 4.10s for 3.55's if anybody is interested.

the truck that hauled me home was sexy. 2011 F350 powerstroke. its my buddies hot shot truck. a reg cab dodge looks tiny on a 40 foot gooseneck haha
