HP,TQ on tranny How much can it handole?

Put a tranny temp gauge with the sender in the line going to the cooler and go beat on it. That will tell you what is going on. I have found that my bone stock 97 with 150 something on it will slip the tranny! I am looking into rebuild or swap out as soon as I finish up a couple issues with the running gear.
