How much HP, TQ can a stock Tranny handole before slipping. on a Dodge 2500 4x4 cummins 156k ? thanks for any input...

 

Put a tranny temp gauge with the sender in the line going to the cooler and go beat on it. That will tell you what is going on. I have found that my bone stock 97 with 150 something on it will slip the tranny! I am looking into rebuild or swap out as soon as I finish up a couple issues with the running gear.

 

none. if u want it to stay reliable i would leave it stock. or get a tc and a VB atleast
