1996 dodge 2500
single cab long bed
4x4 5 speed
300,000
afe stage 2 cold air intake
afe intake manifold
new autometer boost and pyro gauge

6,000$

is it worth it

lil high imo. i would say 5 would be closer to the right price.

look to see what kinda oil filter is on it. if its a fram, be very weary of it. ive seen two trucks personaly that used fram oil filters that the motors lost a cylinder because of trash in the oil squiter. infact just got done rebuilding one of em.

ask the guy if ha has tabbed the kdp.

look at the IP and see if the te,per srew is still in the afc housing. this will tell ya if the pump has been turned up any

i am kinda of nervus becuse i am going from my 1983 6.9 to a cummins and there are so many things that are not the same

i payed 6k for mine. 96 ext cab new auto 320k miles, always been all stock never even had a hitch and had a new jasper trany in it. i feel ok about it

my sons truck was bought at 305k. never turned up till we got it. we had to put a new head gasket on it. cyls looked good. it was always serviced good. kinda depends on how they are taken care of.

yea if it looks like its been taken care of good and theres no huge issues and its what you want i say go for it and try to talk him down as much as possible.
