Default uhhh ohhhh 12 valve

95 12 valve seems like once i get to about 2100 rpm it starts to bog down feels like its flooding out not sure if thats what it is or not but the punk kid i got it from told me he had the fuel pump turned up i know my way around a gas motor pretty well been doin the dirt track racing thing since i was young but these diesels are a lil more tricky and yes i still consider my self a beginner help please someone is it that the p pump needs to b turned down a lil...... also it didnt seem to start doing this till the weather warmed up it ran great (believe it or not) when it was in the 30's

a stock p-pump defuels at 2100 rpm. they make a govenor spring kit to raise it to 3k, 4k or even higher. a 3k kit will make a big difference. if you go with the 4k springs you will need to do valve springs in the head also or you will float the valves.

nothing to worry about. your stock truck stops fueling hard at 2200rpm and will stop fueling completely at 2500rpm

Get govenor springs and valve spring itll make a huge difference. Like these guys above me said it is just shutting off fueling. Also what makes the kid a punk for turning up his pump it is free and easy added horse power my pump is turned up so does that mean im also a punk? If you dont want it up it takes like 45 minutes and you could have it back to stock they tell you how to do it on here or just google it.

There really isnt any need in turning this into a p@ssing match. On the other hand a gov. spring kit is in order for any truck if you ask me.
