Default installing new injector pump???

im going to be replacing the p7100 pump on my 97 cummins, ive read alot of threads and just wondering if anyone gots any tips or tricks to doing this. any help would be a great help.so far i have learned alot from this site and all the info is very useful, so thanks

take ur time its really not hard at all. im fixin to change my pump on mine again

Sand the shaft and pump gear with 80 grit sand paper, the lines that are scratched on the shaft and pump should intersect with the body of the pump and shouldn't be circles around the shaft. If you have any questions feel free to call or text and we will help you to the best of our abilities.
