hello everyone i have a 1998 cummins 12 valve and i have slid the stock fuel plate forward and did the afc work.. just put a cold air intake on it.. i do not know what other mods to do because i need to be able to tow heavy loads and i want to keep some of my fuel mileage.. any suggestions?

 

I would recommend a 3k governor spring kit. Make a world of difference and if your just lookin for heavy hauling i think 3ks will do you fine. Might also look into a little timing bump but not much i would think. You might also look into a mild injector like a 50 horse or something of that sort. How is the exhuast on the truck?

 

I'm putting on a 4" straight pipe this week sometime.. how do you move the timing?

 

Well you need the timing kit from snap on or something of that sort. Or you can have it done by a shop as well.
