Im having the same problem rubbing.I was wondering do you guys think that wheel spacers will do the trick?Or is a leveling kit the only way to fix this.I dont mean to hi-jack this thread, just thinking this is a good place to post.

my truck has no lift.... when i got it... it had 35x12,5R16 on the stock rims... no rub or any clearance issues...

then i got wider rims with a different offset and now it rubs and nibbles when i turn in over 70% to each side :P

i think it's not entirely a matter of wide rims... but rather more a matter of the offset of the rim...

All I have is a 2 inch leveling kit in the front and I'm running 37's and I just rub on the control arms. I just have the 4th gen slt rims. More back spacing im sure would help, but then i think it's be rubbing on the fenders.
