So I tore my motor down to the block and painted it and every piece to it. Should I take the paint off where gaskets and o ring seals go cause when I pulled the oil pan off I noticed that paint was on the pan and the block where the gasket seals up. Any input on that guys? Thanks

I always make sure to tape off or clean paint off gasket/sealing surfaces.
