There is a 97 3500 for sale asking price is 4500
Needs tranny rebulit, what would be a nominal cost
to expect for a decent rebuild not looking for horsepower just some 6500 pound

I am having a stock tranny rebuilt for a friend. I think the shop priced it at $850 with convertor and a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty. Thats with me removing the tranny. $1250 if they remove and install. Gonna put a new tranny cooler on it also the shop recommended that cause "dodge coolers are proned to get stopped up". He said he could not warranty the tranny without replacing it but don't know what the price of that is yet.

 

i got a quote of about 1500 for a full rebuild with racing clutches no shafts though
