Not to be an ******* but 325 is the width of the tire in mm. So depending on what you have for a side wall ex. 325/60 or 325/75 will determine the overall tire height. Trust me go to your local tire shop and stand 3 different 325's beside each other they are not all 35inch tire

Not if you go by the numbers.

325mm width
325 / 25.4(mm per inch) = 12.79527559055118" width
12.79527559055118 x .60(aspect ratio) = 7.677165354330709" sidewall height
7.677165354330709 x 2(bottom and top sidewall thickness) = 15.35433070866142" total sidewall height
15.35433070866142" + 18"(rim diameter) = 33.35433070866142" overall height

Manufacturers don't always stick "exactly" to the numbers and have some leeway, so it's more accurate to use their posted overall height rather than calculate.

it all depends on the rim and the tire, i went to get new tires and i was going to get the 35s toyos and they would rub if i went over a bump on the body so i got the 33s and i dont have to worry about it wheelin

wow you went into quite a bit of calculations to show that guy was wrong. dang mane. ha but I like your proof. I just look at tires too much and just know that 325/60/18s are 33x13.5x18s and 325/65/18s are 35x13.5x18s a look I greatly love
