Question PLUG WIRE ARCKING ???

HELP PLEASE!! i just bought a 98 d2500 4wd. new factory 5 spd. trans. truck has 94k on it. every thing seems fine, except i have what sounds jusy like a spark plug wire off and arcking. it sounds like it is coming from around the master cylinder, and is starting to get louder. the noise is erratic and dosent matter if you are driving or sitting still. not anything rubbing or viborating i dount think.

i know sounds crazy to me!! but i changed oil,put in rotella 15 w 40 and the sound has gone away. the old oil oil looked good, but i wasn't sure about it and changed it anyway. is this a testament to good oil or what!!! oh yea and a little lucas added to. i guess it was mabe the fuel pump arm hitting the cam lobe?????

Have to jump in and give the LUCAS oil stabilizer another vote. Added it to my oil and the lift pump noise went away.

I wouldn't run lucas in a moped. If you want something to bring oil pressure up in a car to sell it fine, but if you want a good additive there are much better choices out there.
