cant decide weather i should restore my truck.. or sell it and get a commonrail. i LOVE my truck. but it needs body work and paint, it has 295k on her. i would either fully restore the body and go for 600hp or just sell it and get a commonrail. i just really really am not looking forward to a payment. what would you guys do?

 

If you love it, save the old girl and give it a make over with new colors or a custom scheme and some new rims and tires. Older dressed up rigs are cooler than stock new ones imo...

 

It will be a fun project and cost you less to bring the ole hammer head back to life then to purchase a newer CR.

 

Keep it. Use the money you would use for payment to put some paint on it. Its only got 295k on it.

 

keep the 12v ... If I could do it all over again I would have bought another 12v instead of my 06 cr

 

nothing is worse than car payments. thats why i got rid of my 08 ford and drive a 92 dodge.

 

Keep the 12 valve man. Im in the restoration process of mine and its got 310,000 on it....Im doing it on good faith that these ol' 12 valve cummins live up to the expectations.

 

Restore for sure!! There not that bad to paint an style up. Were repainting an hopping up a 96 that lays a woopin to a 2005 cr with a bullydog programmer an some other mods great trucks!!!!

keep it man, you can have it faster and look better for cheaper
