Default headlight help

my head lights are really dim even on brights. i can run them all the time and never get brighted by anyone somewere i read about putting a relay in anyone tell me me how that is done? i ran new grounds and it helped alittle but not much.

The stock headlight wires are too small. They run up to the headlight switch and back down to the headlights and all of that length degrades the power along with the small size so you end up with almost a volt loss. You can fix this by running heavier wire straight from the battery or something and then straight to the headlight with a relay in between. Then the wire that normally ran the headlights will become the wire that energizes the relay. The grounds also need to be a little bigger.

There is a kit you can buy for this but I am not sure where and can't remember where any writeups were for this.

x2 i thought it was me being old, would like to find out more about that wire relay setup
