INSTALLING 60LB VALVE SPRINGS

Default INSTALLING 60LB VALVE SPRINGS

is there a head on tool to compress the valve springs or do i have to pull the head to install my new 60lbers? could i just fab up a tool if need be?

There are tools out there to compress the springs. when I did mine I made a real quick tool that worked pretty good.

Just make sure before you compress a spring that the piston is at TDC so you don't drop a valve

if you google "bc847 upgrade valve springs" i think youll find the writeup i used. David (bc847) has really good information.
