does anyone know of a stand i can buy to mount my 12v on that wont fall on my foot?

 

ya get a engine stand from a yard sale or something cheep like that and cut the head off it (the part that the handle goes in and bolts to the block) then weld it to a nice piece of pipe or tube then make a big "T" and bam your done I will take a pic of mine here in a sec

Havent tried it myself but this should work for you: 2000 Lb. Foldable Engine Stand

 

Took my dads old carquest special and reenforced it where I saw fit and def laid a couple more welds on the plate and tube assembly. Tested it with my buds long block and it worked as it should.

shoot no i wouldnt trust those stands no farther then i could throw my truck

 

i just built mine. i found a 25 to 1 gear reducer off an old conver belt. it makes turning it over a breese. i will try and get a picture also.
