i have a 1998 12v. automatic! the transmission 3-4 shift goes back and forth....example 3-4,4-3,3-4,4-3.... ect. can you help. ive replaced the governor sw. and governor sol. and it throws a code for the governor circuit voltage to high.

 

id say throttle position sensor thats my opinion

okay but it has a new tps and is still got the 3-4 hunt!!!!

well its tripped the tps voltage too high code so im gonna check the wiring to the computer...

I am having similar problems but mine is also combined with the cruise not working. Anyone know if the cruise uses the TPS?

 

Is it the TC locking and unlocking?
