Default 95 12 valve throttle position sensor

i need to clean my tps,and just want to know how i do it.i found the location i just wanna know if there is any unsuspecting issues to deal with.let me know.mike

well as long as the voltage reads 1.0 volts +/- .2 volts your good.

thanks for that link,I just now got to doing it in my school auto class but have not gotten to see if it works yet.just a few more hours to see.

Yep that did the trick!Pushed the throttle and it actually moved!I just went to the gas station and checked my fuel mileage.about 15.78mpg city...not bad but lets see if cleaning the tps increases it.thanks again for ur help.

I didnt realize the mechanical trucks had a TPS? Do they all have them more specifically does my 97 have one?

I'm thinking it's just emissions trucks from california would have that stuff, not 100% sure though
