hydro boost issue?
OK guys how about this- When I make a right or left turn the brakes apply. The sharper the turn the harder they apply.

Are you positive it's hydro boost? Because only a very specific few 12v's actually had hydroboost (I wish I remembered the numbers/years etc). How do you know the brakes are applying when you turn?
Well I'm not in your shoes so I'm not certain.. but these hydroboost pumps are goofy. They are tied into your brake system, so it's not unusual to feel the pedal pulsating etc. But these trucks are huge; when turning at full lock you are creating a lot of drag, so it "feels" like the brakes are put on, but it's just drag thats killing your momentum.
I bought the truck new and currently drive about 2500 miles a week pulling a 48 foot trailer. This is a new occurance. It would make sence that the hydro boost was malfunctioning. I was hopeing that somone else had run into this and could confirm the guilty part.
Well heres some personal experience with the hydroboost; keep in mind my cummins did NOT do this though..
In my 7.3 psd, if I tapped the brakes repeatedly while going slow and turning the truck, or while parked and cranking the wheel and tapping the brakes, it would pulsate the steering wheel. They are a system thats completely connected to each other and share functions. If your power steering or braking system fails, so does the other. I say stick some Lucas stop squeel or whatever in it and see what happens. That stuff rocks man.
