Default Fuel shut off relay

Has anyone on this forum tried one of these? NTE Electronics, Inc. - R51-1D70-12 - Sensors, Switches & Relays - Relays - Allied Electronics There a lot cheaper and seem like an exact replacement.

you and me both pap my solenoid actually blew up one night when my truck was running. talk about being scared outa my mind thought the whole truck was gonna burn down.

but in reference to your question it should work if the plug in pattern is the same and it put out the same amount of power i really don't see why it wouldn't work

you know iv never even looked at my relay, the guy told me the solenoid was bad when i bought the truck. is the relay normally the problem or do the solenoids go bad?

right now iv got a lovely system of ropes and pulleys going into the cab. i pull a string every time i start the truck, all my friends get a good laugh outa it i almost dont even want to fix it, it fits the turd perfectly.

Well I read around and the common problem is the fusible link and the relay, if your fusible link seems ok and aint soft, and your solenoid works sometimes but also doesnt work on other times than its probly build up on it or your relay. Otherwise if everything seems fine it could be the solenoid, but theres no harm in trying the cheaper stuff first
