Can anyone shine some light on this.....

90 Standard cab long bed frame the same as a 97 Standard cab long bed frame?

I want to drop a 1st gen body on a 97 frame for my puller truck will there be alot of custom fab? or is it a direct bolt up?

guess id grab a measuring tape and measure where each bolt up

 

its way easier than that just find a body shop (found this out today) they have the specs on the 2 frames and where its all meant to go so there I go answered my own question

 

i shoulda knew that ha ha i took 6 years autobody

 

 

And I'm guessing you found out the wheelbase ist abt 6 to 10 inches off?...

Well we are going for the 24V in a 97 4X4 frame with a NV4500 with my first gen body.....
and we are going to do it in 48 hours too

well the 90 body is off and frames are being matched up cutting the frame on the 97 in a sec.....
