did you put in the lock up controler or are you just tryin to put them both on toggle switches? also did you leave the wires hooked up to the pcm or disconnect them from there completely?

just tapted into the wires they are still whole. and both on toggle but i have been fighting with no overdrive this was just a way to try and make it work but i think i might have a bad solenoid. also when i ground the tc wire im dash goes dead but all the start up lights come on

hum that doesnt sound right at all, if your just piggy backing like that then you just need to tap into the correct wire for lock-up and od, run them to two switches and ground the other side of the switches, i have a diagram for the wire connector on the trans i will try and find, so you can make sure you have the right wires

have you checked you fluid and dropped the pan to see if there is any debris in there?

i wired mine up on my 95 but its a 3 pin 47rh not the 47re like you have, do you have the 8 pin connector on your transmission? pins 6 and 7 are the grounds for od and lock-up, my directions dont say what colors they are tho. but they are right next to each other
