I've gotta '98 12valve QCSB 4x4 Auto that I bought as a project truck. I drove it around last weekend and its started this weird "grinding" feeling when turning. It's like the rear end gears aren't rollin smooth. I just change the fluid in it w/ Royal Purple synthetic w/ the limited slip additive in it. It's been about 350-400 miles since I did the change.

Any thoughts? Could it be something in the front end?

 

have you checked the front wheel bearings? that or could be something as simple as the front tire rubbing on the inner fender I know that's what my truck does.

 

i checked the wheel bearings....i also forgot to mention that it only does it when there is a slight incline when i turn.....if i turn on level ground or turn going downhill.......i don't feel it.

Could it be the tranny?
