Default p-pump problem

Hello all,
I was timing my p-pump install on my first gen engine and forgot to remove the timing tool in the pump> snapped off the plastic tabs. Does anyone know if the plastice tabs will hurt anything?

Take the tool back out turn it back in the direction it goes in and no it will not hurt anything, happens all the time
