I bought a 98 12 valve resto project. i already killed the killer down pin. It has 123000 miles on it. I Know i got to fix the 5th gear nut. I need to know what else I'm missing. I put on leveling kit, all new tie rod ends, ball joints. Question my turbo has play and i got a 01 24v turbo for 100 bucks no play and wastegate is already pinched. What do i do with the stock 12v waste gate tube dill. I put all new brakes and one new emergency brake cable. I put on straight pipe. What a easy cheap intake. and on the fuel plate wats the best one for not to much smoke but smoke when u get on it.

 

was the 01 turbo off a auto or manual? you can grind your stock plate down abit, or slide it forward and see how you like it, smoke will depend on how you drive it and tune you afc housing, just buy a afe or bhaf air fliter and you a 4" piece of exhaust pipe, abs, or pvcs to conect it to the black "u" shaped tube that comes off the turbo-remove your stock air box assembly,
