Oil question

I had a friend give me about five gallons of Rotella 30w. It says it's ch-4 rated but he just bought them about 3 months ago. Can I get away with running this in my engine for the rest of the summer?

yeah it should be fine its really not good to change weights but if it was giving run it

your pump will like you for it, seen a few trucks run smoother with 30wt delo in them
