pump question

how can you tell the difference in a 180 pump,215 pump,ect.???by looking at the pump

I would assume you would more than most likely have to crossreference serial numbers...

pull the DV and look at the top of the plunger. if it has a retard notch its a 215, flat top could be a 180,175,or 160. you could also use the numbers on the plate if its still there

Yeah without taking the pump apart i would say the serial numbers

here are the common numbers found on the plate. there are others

if the last 3 are 885 or 911 its a 180 pump
if the last 3 are 887 or 913 its a 215 pump
