power to manual windows

power to manual windows
so my passenger window motor just took a ****... when the windows all they way down of couse 
so im looking into switiching over to manual windows... can i just cut a hole in the door panel for the handle? or is the door panel shaped differently?

because to replace the motor, you end up buying the scissor arms too... and the the manual is $50 and power is $150... 
plus ive always liked manual windows
