Default Racing a Ford

So a guy at work buys a 2003 Ford 6.0 Powerstroke and right away he wants to race so we do and of course I beat him. But the first run my clutch slipped something terrible should I have warmed up my clutch is that why it slipped or is my clutch on the way out. I'd like to do a dual disc are they streetable. Which ones are the best I have a SBC clutch now.

Has it been slipping before or just after? Or just that one time during the Race?

Ok. Sounds like your fine. Must have been bad trimming in your shift and clutch pattern for racing. You might want to look under (Just to be under the safe side) there just to see for abnormal wear and excessive play. Check your clutch peddle as-well.
